A sight-saving drug that could prevent thousands of people from going blind has been approved for use by the NHS across England & Wales.

The National Institute for health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) issued its final guidance on Lucentis, recommending the anti-VEGF drug for the treatment of wet AMD (Age related macular degeneration).
